I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was!! We went here to have a quick lunch and it was the perfect choice with a blend of meat eaters and vegans in our group. The food and the sugarcane sodas were SO good. I finished my entire bowl. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in Athens!

What a nice experience we had for lunch! With less and less veg restaurants in Athens, we were so happy to find veg-friendly Maepole. It was recommended to us by locals. The staff were all so nice, knowledgeable, and patient. We were excited to see so many vegan options. Everything we ordered was very good! We’ll definitely be back.

The superior "bowl" place. You really can't go wrong here, but I got the Low Country today and it had no right being that good! The portions are generous (could split or save for lunch the next day depending on how hungry you are) and the flavors are both unique and balanced. Comfy food that also nourishes the body!

My family was visiting UGA for orientation, and my daughter had heard about Maepole. It is quick and healthy food, similar to a healthy Mediterranean style restaurant chain you may have near you. Everything we selected was fresh and well prepared. There was even a sufficient amount of food that we all left a little in our bowls. Highly recommend!

Always a good experience. Portions sometimes lend to being two meals. I always feel good after eating here and know it was a healthy and yummy choice. We’ve been enjoying meals here for years. Cookies are especially delicious and the sauces are all delicious. My favorites are the ranch and spicy avacado, and my husband loves the lemon herb.

Good food that’s reminiscent of a home cooked meal. Hibiscus limeade was incredible, tangy and not overly sweet. I appreciated the convenience and also the biodegradable takeout containers with option to opt out of utensils if not needed.

My favorite. Healthy. Tasty. And the Chase Street location within Clarke County composts everything using the city service. It’s a shame the location near Trader Joe’s is in Oconee County and doesn’t have access to public composting service. My daughter adds that the people who work here are always cheerful and welcoming. Love it!

Maepole’s original location on Chase Street in Athens, GA was like finding a diamond in the rough. It’s in a quirky location just off the loop freeway near an industrial area. However, the place itself is a hidden oasis. It’s a great place to eat outside and pet friendly. Tasty, healthy, casual with vegan options and tasty tea and an assortment of sodas sweetened with cane sugar. My son and I both tried the Fritters for our protein and were surprised how good they tasted. Their Fritters are made with mushroom, quinoa, and black eyed peas. It’s the type of place where you order at the counter. The outdoor seating areas are nice and clean. We’ll be back😉I wish we’d tried this place sooner when we had vegetarian friends and family visiting. Now we have a place to take them next time.

We asked a local where to eat. They did not hesitate to call this place out as a top contender amongst a sea of establishments staples. I can honestly say I would eat there at least once a day if I lived there. Sauces where phenomenal. Meats and tofu were both seasoned perfectly and cooked to textural perfection. I am so jealous that I do not live closer!

We were just passing through town, and when traveling, we like to find where the locals eat. We look for fresh, homemade, off the beaten path eateries, and we found it here! Highly recommend! We had a small trailer but there's still parking available

I finally got to try Maepole!!! I recently got put on a very restrictive diet, and was invited to come have dinner at this place… The meal was totally compliant with my restrictions and absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back. 😋 Would love it if they decided to make soups!

now that the Grit is gone, THIS is the Greatest Restaurant In Town! They have great tofu, multiple great sides (and the meat eaters i know think they nailed that part, too)!

I ❤️ everything about Maepole. Their idea is simple - cheap, healthy food that is good for the tummy and soul. I love their seasonal menu and commitment to environmental consciousness and sustainability in their brand. I haven’t found another restaurant quite like it. Can’t wait for many more locations!

This is one of the truly HEALTHY meals we regularly order. Everything is always delicious, the portions generous and the cost very reasonable. I've taken to ordering a vegetable plate plus a side of their delicious tofu. The delivery person forgot our sauce this time, but the food is so flavorful we didn't even miss it!

Such Creative combination of flavours and ingredients. The Mac and Cheese was excellent. I liked the siracha honey sauce. I loved the relaxing ambiance. I sat outside and it was amazing.
